Reflecting on Father’s Day!

A father and daughter were rock climbing on a dangerous slope. The father said to his daughter ” Be careful where you step, this is a dangerous area”. The daughter replied
” Don’t worry Dad, I’m stepping right where you stepped”. These are powerful words, because our children, grandchildren, and students will often follow our foot steps.

As a grandfather speaking to you younger dads, I would like to share some thoughts for leaving good footprints.

1. Remember our kids are always watching.
2. Challenge yourself to excel in your faith, and push yourself to be your personal best.
3. Instill the Word of God in your children.
4. Memorize scripture
5. This is a hard one. Remember you are the adult.

In Christ,
David Dunn
