That is why the Israelites cannot stand against their enemies; they turn their backs and run because they have been made liable to destruction. I will not be with you anymore unless you destroy whatever among you is devoted to destruction.
Every fighter wants to know his or her opponents weakness. Fighters want to know the vulnerabilities of their enemies. This same truth applies in our fight within the spiritual realm. To remain standing during the difficult rounds of the good fight, we must know our spiritual vulnerability.
Sometimes during training camp, we try to figure out why we are not winning a fight from the natural only. We look at all aspects of our performance to see what went wrong. Perhaps our fight plan was flawed or our timing was off.
Sin makes us drop our hands during the fight against Satan, who then gains permission from God to punch us in the face in the area where we have failed to uphold righteousness. If we welcome sin into our life, Satan quickly starts throwing bombs in an effort to knock us out. If we give place to bitterness and unwillingness to forgive, we will be choked out inside the cage of life.
Examine your weakness today. Make sure you are not susceptible to attack. Begin from a solid spiritual foundation and your chances of success will be great..
Remember, it is called a fight for a reason. However, we fight from victory, not for victory. Keep Fighting!
